Our Purpose

The mission of Reel Good Deeds Entertainment is to create powerful, socially impactful stories that inspire action and foster hope. We are dedicated to producing narratives that illuminate the journey from trauma to triumph – where childhood pain transforms into self-acceptance, resilience, and empowerment.

Through stories of abandonment, abuse, addiction, disability, mental illness, and the courage to face life's greatest challenges, we remind audiences that no one walks alone in their struggles.

Beyond storytelling, we are equally committed to ensuring that our donors' contributions are regenerative – creating a lasting cycle of impact that continues to uplift, heal and inspire long after the credits roll.

About Reel Good Deeds Entertainment

Reel Good Deeds Entertainment was founded in 2025 by Kristine Evjen with a simple belief: stories can change lives. RGDE is a social impact-focused nonprofit committed to transforming real human stories into cultural catalysts. We support high-quality, emotionally resonant films that illuminate underrepresented experiences and open pathways for dialogue, advocacy, and social change.

What sets us apart is our integrated impact model. Each project is paired with a tailored outreach strategy—including nonprofit partnerships, screenings, educational materials, and policy-aligned conversations—to maximize reach and social return. This approach extends the lifecycle of our films and increases long-term audience engagement.

Our regenerative donor-investor model reinvests a portion of revenue into future projects, creating a sustainable pipeline of mission-driven films. Investors and donors alike benefit from measurable impact, brand-positive alignment, and participation in projects designed to influence both hearts and systems.

Reel Good Deeds Entertainment is positioned at the intersection of premium storytelling and social impact—creating films that matter, and movements that last.

About our founder

Reel Good Deeds Entertainment

Kristine Evjen is the founder of Reel Good Deeds Entertainment, a social impact film company dedicated to creating stories that illuminate the path from trauma to healing. Her career began in corporate finance, serving as a financial analyst for Delta Air Lines, leading business development initiatives for MCI/WorldCom, and consulting in mergers and acquisitions for GE Oil & Gas. These roles took her across the globe—Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Hamburg, London, and beyond—giving her a deep understanding of people, culture, and the universal human stories that connect us.

She later became a small-business owner and a founding and governing board member of a Georgia state charter school, expanding her experience in leadership, governance, and mission-driven work.

But Kristine's professional accomplishments are not what ultimately prepared her for the work she does today. What qualifies her to lead a company centered on impact, empathy, and human resilience is something far more personal: she is the very audience she hopes to reach.

Kristine has lived through the darkness she now works to illuminate for others. She spent years battling severe depression, substance dependence, and the hidden struggles of an eating disorder. She endured profound grief after losing her father to suicide—a loss that nearly claimed her own life. Her journey through these experiences is not one she speaks of for shock or sympathy, but because she understands the silent suffering so many people carry.

Her healing became her turning point. It revealed her purpose.

Today, Kristine stands in a place she once doubted she'd reach—whole, grounded, and compelled to help others find their way out of their own pain. Her lived experience allows her to tell stories with authenticity, compassion, and courage. Through film, she reaches those who feel alone, reminding them that recovery is possible, hope is real, and their story is far from over.

With Reel Good Deeds Entertainment, Kristine channels both her professional expertise and her personal journey into a mission-driven platform: creating films that heal, empower, and change lives.
